royal-style building, extremely pleasant rooms with bath as well as a barely adequate mattress. location really close to bars and restaurants and the main shops, shops & restaurants and the historical part, the fortress and downtown. nearby la brasserie du palais - great place to chill out.

Utterly disappointing expectations. The bed bugs, unforgivable. Couldn't believe I had to fight for a room change, and no apology was offered! Woudl ve loved a complimentary gesture due to the inconveniences. It's like they think every guest is the same. Breakfast options woudl ve been better if they weren't day-old breads! I just couldn't recommend this place.

The twin room was quite comfy, decent size for two, and had everything we needed for a short stay. The bed was really cozy, which helped us catch some good sleep. The room was clean overall, and we loved having a hairdryer. On the downside, it could've used better soundproofing since it got a bit noisy with other guests around. We also missed having a wardrobe to hang up our stuff. But with the great location and helpful staff, it was still a solid stay.

The Central offered a friendly reception staff with varying levels of English, comfortable beds, and a great location that was walkable to the old town, new town, railway station and bus stops. These aspects significantly enhanced my business trip experience and made it easy to explore the area.
The shower head had no place to hang, inconvenient to use.
